Can I find out if someone specific is attending?

  • The directory of individual attendees (including contact info) is on our online/mobile app, hosted by Sched.

  • A list of organizations is on this page.

Can I bring materials and handouts to share?

  • Share takeaways with Summit attendees at our Resource Exchange Table.

Is there unstructured time?

  • Breakfast and Lunch are open times for networking, connection, being with yourself, or (during Lunch) exploring the Zoo.

What’s the dress code?

  • Business casual to casual -- whatever makes you feel confident and ready to engage!

  • Comfortable walking shoes for getting around the Zoo.

  • Dress for the weather: High 60s - low 70s, and sunny!

    • Bring a layer or two!

What kind of food and snacks are offered?

We’ll provide meals throughout Summit.

  • Happy Hour on Monday, March 25: Appetizers, drinks

  • Breakfast: Hot and cold morning meal options

  • Lunch: Assorted sandwiches, salads, sides

  • Snacks all day!

How will I get around the Zoo?

  • We are using a select number of spaces around the Zoo, and the farthest distance between them is about 0.3 miles (or 1500 feet).

  • Attendees will walk from space to space, guided by signage and helpful directional volunteers.

  • We reached out to attendees who indicated a need for mobility support on their registration form.

    • The San Diego Zoo offers a detailed guide for guests with disabilities on its website.

How can I get to and from the Zoo?

  • Shuttles depart from the Marriott Mission Valley hotel to the Zoo starting at 7:15am. The last shuttle is 7:50am.

  • Shuttles will run from the Zoo to the hotel starting in the afternoon, at 4:45pm (if not joining for Zoo bus tour) and then again at 6:00pm (after the Zoo bus tour).

  • You will need to coordinate your own travel to/from the airport. Check out our Location + Travel page for tips.

Is there somewhere to store my luggage?

  • We will have a luggage drop in Zoofari Party Area, our main Summit hub at the Zoo, close to check-in.

  • There will be someone stationed at the luggage drop all day!

How can I join the end-of-day bus tour?

  • If you indicated on your registration form that you’re interested in joining the optional end-of-day bus tour, we’ve guaranteed your spot.

  • We expect to have a small number of extra seats, and those will be available first-come, first-served!

How does admission to the Zoo work?

  • If you’re joining us for Summit on Tuesday or an invite-only work session on Wednesday, your admission will be covered by 100Kin10 (you must enter through our Summit hub, the Zoofari Party Area).

  • If you’re planning to attend the Zoo on any other days before/after Summit, you must pay for your own admission (each ticket is valid for one day).

  • All Summit attendees are subject to the terms of the Zoo’s admission policies:

    • This ticket is a revocable license. Ticket holder (“Visitor”) voluntarily assumes all risk and danger for personal injury or property damage incidental to visiting the San Diego Zoo or San Diego Zoo Safari Park (collectively “Parks”). Visitor agrees not to commercially use any photography recordings in any form taken at the Parks, and Visitor grants permission to the Parks and their agents to utilize Visitors image and/or sound recordings for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity. Not for unauthorized re-sale or promotional use. Misuse of this ticket could result in prosecution.
